7 of the places were made for the EAA Young Eagles program in 2010 as awards.
20" in diameter, mounted in a 3D affect layers of laser cut acrylic on a new surplus compressor disk from a Pratt & Whitney JTD8 turbofan jet engine, used on the early Boeing's 727 and the US Navy A-6 Intruder attack aircraft. Finished in silver vein powder coat.
This is the 8th and last one made at the end of the project.
